- The Woodvine Dragon was released on April 9, 2020 during The Spring Shellebration alongside the Clairvoyant Dragon, Minchi Dragon and Glyph Dragon.
- The Woodvine Dragon, along with the Clairvoyant Dragon, Minchi Dragon, and Glyph Dragon, was among the first dragons released that were designed by DECA Games after the closure of Backflip Studios. All other dragons released after the closure of Backflip but before The Spring Shellebration were designed by Backflip and released by DECA.
