Notes
- The Watch Dragon was released on November 15, 2013, along with the Dark Dragon, Root Dragon, Nightshade Dragon, Fungus Dragon, Dungeon Dragon, Cave Dragon, Dark Rift Dragon, Dark Element Flag, Erebus Ostracon, Dark Habitat, Large Dark Habitat, and the Giant Dark Habitat.
Possible References
- The Watch Dragon appears to be based on a guard dog. Its hellish appearance may be a reference to Cerberus, the three-headed guard dog of Hades, the Underworld of Greek mythology. However, whereas Cerberus is commonly represented as a monstrously huge dog, the Watch Dragon is strangely small.
- The Watch Dragon's goal completion text reads "Who watches the Watch Dragon?" which may be a reference to the graphic novel and film "Watchmen", and/or the ancient idiom, first proposed by the Roman poet Juvenal.
