Vision Advertisements

Vision Advertisements are optional ways players can receive rewards by watching advertisements.

Vision Advertisements appear in various spots throughout the game.

Tolzar's Optical Oracle

• Vision Advertisements appear at Tolzar's Optical Oracle and allows the player to watch videos to receive rewards.
  • Three views for event currency per day during events.
  • Three views for DragonCash per day with amount received depending on player park level.
  • Two views for gems per day.
  • Three views for treats per day outside of events.

Sponsor Gem

• A Vision Advertisement is offered via the "Sponsor Gem" once a day.
  • The player may visit the "Treasure" section of the market and have an option to watch one additional video if "Sponsor Gem" is selected.
  • After watching the "Sponsor Gem" video the option will disappear from the market until the next time it appears at daily reset.

Incubating Eggs & Breeding

• Vision Advertisements can sometimes appear to speed up or reduce the duration of nursery eggs and breeding times.
  • This will occur when a "green button with a play symbol" is shown.
  • If the time left is above 2 hours it offers a reduction of 30 minutes.
  • If the time left is less than 2 hours it offers a reduction of 15 minutes.
  • If the time left is less than 15 minutes it offers to reduce it to "Free" for full amount of time remaining.

Colosseum

• Vision Advertisements sometimes appears after completing an event at the Colosseum.
  • While there is an option for "Maybe Later" the option to view later does not appear until after the next Colosseum event is completed.
  • This option only appears if the event ended in Gold or Silver; not Bronze.

Ts'aishen Vision Vault Chest

• Vision Advertisements is offered through Ts'aishen once a day.
  • After opening Ts'aishen's Free Daily Vault Chest, an option to watch a vision to open another chest will appear.
  • This can be located by tapping on the chest button icon after opening the free chest.
  • After watching the vision a countdown until the next daily reset will appear.

Daily Rewards

• A Vision Advertisement gives an option to double that day's Daily Reward by watching a vision.
  • This only appears when DragonCash, Gems, and Treats are the login rewards.
  • This option does not appear for the Wishing Well or eggs milestones.
  • This appears upon first entering the game after the daily login.

Game Crashing

• At times the game may crash when attempting to watch a Vision Advertisements or upon completion of watching it.
• Different outcomes occur depending on where the game crash occurs and the circumstances.
  • Usually if the crash occurs at Tolzar's Optical Oracle or Sponsor Gem prior to the vision playing it will not register and can be selected again.
    • If it occurs after the vision is completed the reward usually is added to the player's currency count.
  • When Incubating or Breeding if it crashes the player is given another chance to play the vision again to get the reduction in time.
  • At the Colosseum the option for the reward may not register and an attempt to replay it does not appear.
  • At the Daily Rewards if it crashes the reward goes into the player's Social Menu Gifts.

Froggy Eddy is a DragonVale character that helps Tolzar with visions.

Froggy will appear on a player's screen while either seeking visions or having a vision when a Vision Advertisements can't connect.

Notes

• Tolzar's Optical Oracle first appeared as part of Update 3.11 on December 14, 2016.
  • It only appeared with visions in some parks, then it disappeared from player's parks on an unknown date, and it reappeared in all players' parks on an unknown date.
• On an unknown date the amount of visions offered through Tolzar's Optical Oracle changed from four visions to three visions.
• On an unknown date the amount of visions offered through "Sponsor Gems" from two "Sponsor Gems" to one.
• With update 4.29.3 on October 25, 2023, an option to watch an advertisement to double the day's Daily Reward was added for DragonCash, Gems, and Treats login rewards.
• On November 13, 2024, the Tolzar's Optical Oracle mechanics were adjusted as part of 4.32.0.
  • Instead of being limited to three Vision Advertisements per day of either event currency during events or gems outside of events the following was implemented:
    • Three views for event currency per day during events.
    • Three views for DragonCash per day with amount received depending on player park level.
    • Two view for gems per day.
    • Three views for treats per day outside of events.
