Valeice Getaway was a special, limited time event by DragonVale which required players to collect roses and trade them at the Bouquet Boutique to receive rewards.
Roses needed to be collected and traded at the Bouquet Boutique. Each reward required a certain amount of roses to be traded in to be earned.

What is the Valeice Getaway?[]
Valeice Getaway's objective was to collect roses.
The Help Menu in Valeice Getaway provided info on some key aspect of the event.
Tutorial[]
Valeice Getaway starts with a tutorial explaining how the event will work.
The process of this tutorial can be viewed in the gallery to the right.
The tutorial takes a few minutes to complete from beginning to end, but players received 200 as a goal completion reward after completing the tutorial.
- The
100 extra compared to previous events was a compensation for a last minute change of event start time.
The first time the tutorial shows up in your park, you are guided to click on the Bouquet Boutique, then you are guided to the main tutorial page with rules and rewards tabs, but you can immediately X out of the tutorial without hitting any of the info boxes if you choose.

Prize Completion[]
When enough roses are collected, they were able to be used at the Bouquet Boutique for unique prizes. Players were able to select which reward they wanted in unlocked prize tiers.
Special Visitors[]
When there is a rose around the Visitors icon, Gardenia is in the park.
If tapped on, Gardenia will grant 50 / 100 on double days, and 
20,000.
Gardenia would return after 12 hours within the daily reset cycle, and if tapped on, grant 50 / 100 on double days.
Community Prizes[]
For the first time since Gardenia's Color Guard, community prizes returned. When enough roses are contributed to the community prize pool, a reward will be given to all players that contributed roses towards the goal.
- On January 24, 2021 (about 9 hours 30 minutes after the daily reset), the first community goal was achieved, and the community reward of an Egg of Mystery was distributed.
- On February 3, 2021 (less than an hour after the daily reset), the second community goal was achieved, and the community reward of a Rare Egg of Mystery was distributed.
- On February 15, 2021 (around an hour after the daily reset), the third community goal was achieved, and the community reward of a Rare Egg of Mystery was distributed.
- On February 25, 2021 (around daily reset), the fourth community goal was achieved, and the community reward of an Epic Egg of Mystery was distributed.

- On January 20, 2021, shortly after the conclusion of the Tundral Rumble, an event timer appeared in the game with a one-day countdown.
- The Valeice Getaway began on January 21, 2021 and ended on March 3, 2021.
- The rose collection ran through February 28, 2021, and concluded on March 1 at the daily reset. The Bouquet Boutique remained open for two additional days and closed on March 3, 2021 daily reset.
- On March 1, 2021, players were given the Box of Chocolates.
- On January 23, 2021, it was made possible to collect twice the amount of roses from completing the tasks in the Valeice Getaway event. This was a promotion and only lasted for 48 hours.

- DECA Games originally planned to start the event at 8 am Mountain Time on January 21. However, due to a last minute tutorial issue, it was delayed three hours right before it was scheduled to begin.
- Several new decorations from the event were leaked in the Dragonarium and Wishing Well the day before the event began. The new Twilight Tower Theme (hearts) for the event was also released ahead of time.

- The Valeice Getaway is thought to take place in Venice (thus the name Valeice, a combination of Vale and Venice), making it one of few events that is implied to take place in a real life location.
