Episode 2: Peace throughout the tribes[]
The 'joining together' of the elemental tribes.
Part 1:[]
The peacemakers were resting inside a rather pleasant abandoned old building which they had found. The rider with the panlong dragon revealed himself to be wes, and the rider with the dodo dragon to be nyxlycos. Both of them were welcomed to join their quest. Coolshadow also joined their quest, with his turquoise dragon accompanying him. Topaz had found a equinox dragon for herself, hiding scared in a broken shack.
Bre suddenly discovered a room with ancient runes, but no one could read them. Then nyxlycos stepped up, saying "I have knowledge of this old language, I can translate for you".
It said:
Evil is a powerful a force. A sinister force. And it is stirring up in this very land. The clan of evilness is the reason for this. It is led my a powerful wizard and witch, who command hundreds of dragons and wizards. There are legends about the leaders of this clan. One has a dragon which bends time, as well as a dragon capable of remarkable feats of magic. The other yields a dragon of many colors, as well as a golden dragon which only comes out of of hiding every four years. Should a powerful force read this and think that they can Abest them; head this warning; you cannot do this alone. You need the cooperation of the tribes to do this, you must make rival opposite tribes befriend each other. Once peace is restored within your order, you must face your opponent; your adversary; and defeat them in a epic battle finale.
"Well, that pretty much told us all we have to do", said bre.
"We have a hard task ahead of us", agreed wes.
"We first need to ensure the cooperation of the tribes", said Zordon.
"This quest is more important than any other ever done in a million years, and we need a leader", said topaz.
"We should have a vote", said marman.
The voting was close, but it eventually went to bre.
"All hail bre, our new leader!", said Conchitah.
"All hail!" replied the peacemakers.
"We have assembled our quest, now we must save the world, and rid any chaos from every bit of it! We shall strive our hardest to do so!".
"TO THE WELL-BEING AND GOOD FORTUNE OF OUR QUEST. WE SHALL MAKE OUR ENEMIES WISH THEY WERE NEVER BORN! FOR OUR QUEST IS A FORMIDABLE FORCE! FOR THE PEACEMAKERS!
Part 2:[]
The peacemakers has arrived in a huge area of... well..., nothing. But despite that, it seemed to radiate magic. On the horizon, a structure was visible in the distance. As they grew closer, the structure turned out t be a magnificent city, far surpassing the quality of any if the other tribes they met.
"What is this place?" exclaimed bre in wonder, marvelling at the architectural and physical effort which must have had gone into the city.
It seemed to stretch put for miles, far bigger than a single dragonvale island.
However, there was no sign of any people whatsoever.
"Where are the inhabitants of this city?", wondered DragoNex, voicing out the though which all of the peacemakers had in mind.
"Maybe it's deserted?", said coolshadow.
It seemed an unlikely possibility that this was true. The buildings were gleaming and recently polished, and there was a clear sign that people were living in the homes.
"It's almost like everyone has decided to go invisible!", exclaimed topaz.
"I agree," said Conchitah.
"Finally the idiots get it", said a voice, and the peacemakers all felt sharp spears and dragon claws pressing against their backs.
Who are you?", asked Zordon.
"You're not in a position to be asking questions, are you?", said the voice, "but if you must now, we are members of the epic tribe. My name is pickle. Now tell me, what is your business here?".
"We're on a quest to find out why evil seems to be happening in the land. Currently, were trying to ensure the cooperation of he elemental tribes.", replied bre.
The epic tribe's spears loosened slightly. "So you do not come as enemies?".
"Certainly not!"
"Very well, in that case, you may enjoy the luxury and comfort of the city epican, founded and made by awesome1001 long ago, and the first city of the dragonvale land."
"Thank you", said the peacemakers.
Pickle gave them advice on what they should do. They had to find the great statue elemento, which had been stolen from the city of epican and was likely in the hands of their enemies. It had the power to ensure peace between the tribes.
The place was unique to everything the peacemakers has ever seen. No words could describe the magnifice and majestic beauty of it. But eventually they had to leave. They said their farewells, and then the peacemakers set off, renewed with newfound enthusiasm and looking for adventure. This time they had a goal, to locate the statue of elemento, and bring it back safely to the tribes.
Part 3:[]
Pickle had also given them information on where he statue was. Unfortunately, all that was known of it was a rather mysterious riddle, which went as follows:
I am in a dark, deep, cave, Yet I still sees the light throughout the day, I am through rushing rivers and harsh lightning, Yet still farther I am, I am over frost lands and fire pits, I am through jungles and forests, I am in a metal fort, Guarded by a formidable and invulnerable foe, Who you shall not defeat no matter what, And should you get me, Elements shall combine and mix, And peace will come to the world, For I am elemento!,
"Nobody, in centuries, has been able to decipher this riddle", pickle has said. "I can only hope in vain that you shall do what we could not".
Yet the peacemakers had not given up hope.
"A dark cave... that seems like the cave of the forbidden".
"What's that", asked Conchitah.
"It's a cave very far west. It is outside this realm, in a dark and forbidding place. It is said to be inhabited by ghosts. Nobody has gone in and lived to tell the tale", explained bre.
"O-ok."
"And we are planning to go there?", questioned topaz.
"You got that right!", chuckled Marman. "We, a bunch of ten overconfident fools, are planning to do what great warriors could not".
"Pretty much summed that up", said Zordon. "Let's do it! Look what we've done so far, obtaining this statue will be a simple thing for us!"
"Not quite correct", replied DragoNex. "The caves are far more perilous than anything else we've faced. Thousands of evil monsters await our coming.".
"What are we waiting for?", asked wes.
