So apparently I'm supposed to do something here.
Top 10 Favorite/Least Favorite Dragons ->
I really like Dragonvale. Not just really, but REALLY really. That is why I have an opinion on the game. I really like some dragons. Meanwhile, I really hate other dragons, too. Just for the heck of it, I'm listing my 10 favorite/least favorite dragons.
#10: Epoch Dragon This dragon is a pretty unique idea, with a dragon that ages backwards. While I personally don't like the baby, the adult is a very cute design with the small tuft of hair, the little teeth, and the big eyes. The description also is very descriptive mentioning possible theories as to why the Epoch dragon is... the Epoch Dragon.
#9: Shadow Dragon Most pallet swap dragons are... lazy. The Shadow Dragon has 2 major factors going for it before some of the others, though. The dark dragon's colors really look good on the light dragon's body, and the dragon itself is more than just a pallet swap, which changes the eyes and the wings. The description also references how misunderstood the dragon is, which is really sweet.
#8: Dawnbringer Dragon This dragon is a very obvious dragon to like. Normally, the dragon is an elegant yellow dragon with very elegant blue highlights. But then, at night, the dragon becomes a deep purple with black sections all over its two wings. Though the description is okay, the dragon is one of the best around.
#7: Dandelion Dragon While the baby is very ugly and the description is bland, I really love the adult. This is quite rare to like an adult 200% more than the baby, but it just did from day 1 of its release. I really can't explain why I like it so much, but I just do.
#6: Blightwing Dragon This was one of the first 7 rift dragons revealed (not including Light and Dark) and even though I am loyal to Iron Blossom, I like this dragon way more than Spore. This dragon made an impression on what a good rift dragon can look like, from its maroon colors, to its good textures, to its... trippier areas.
#5: Frostfluff Dragon One of the cutest dragons in the game and my favorite Rift Exclusive, the Frostfluff dragon is such a good design for a Rift Exclusive. The Crystals, the fluffiness, the ... unbearably cute face! Even its animations are so darn cute, especially when it wags its tail for most of them! The description even mentions how cute these guys are!
#4: Elysium Dragon The Elysium dragon is a very nice looking Olympus/Dream dragon with clouds and gold, which make a very good mix on a dragon which is supposed to be a sky high dragon on the top of Mount Oly.
#3: Dusk Dragon The gradients on this dragon make it look so nice and calm, as well as its majestic wings and its mottled spots.
#2: Portent Dragon This dragon has a very nice design with multi-colored wings, horns, and psychic abilities. I also love all the references to the 8 people that made it, like the eight horns, the eight psychic horns, and the eight colors on the wing.
#1: Midnight Dragon The sleekest dragon is also the best dragon. (In my opinion) This dragon is so sleek, from its wings to its tail, to its horns. I also love the mix between midnight blue and light blue. The segmented scales on the wings and horn also look really good in my opinion. The description even mentions that its breath may have night energy powers. Now that's pretty neat!
And now for my least favorite dragons.
#10: Clover Dragon I completely forgot this dragon even existed for a long time now, because of how forgettable it is. The very first St. Patrick's day dragon is just a pallet swap of the Flower Dragon.
#9: Plains Dragon This dragon seems like it took a class in the DragonCity designs class. "If you slap wings on an animal, it is perfectly suitable for being a dragon!" If you take off the wings, it is literally just a Gazelle.
#8: Trimera Dragon The design of this dragon is pretty off-putting for me. It has giant horns, a massive beard, and a head on the end of this tail. The colors and elements of this dragon just don't mix well with one-another.
#7: Conifer Dragon I fountain of youth'd this dragon as soon as I saw its adult form. Sure, the baby is pretty mediocre, but the adult is a big behemoth with giant antlers, lots of needles, and a very burly looking body. This design just doesn't stick with me.
#6: Stoneheart Dragon The mix of a dull gray with a very vibrant red is very unappealing to the eye. The shape of the body makes it look very fat with a very long neck, too. At least the baby is (sorta) cute.
#5: Elder Light Dragon Most elder designs make a normal elemental dragon and do a Pokemon Mega Evolution sort of look, where they look all powered up. The light dragon is one of my favorite elemental dragons, but when they made an elder dragon, they made it go from pleasing to overly detailed and awkward. Now there are way too many blue chrysalis things, (even near its eyes for some reason) its eyes are blue which do not fit, and the skin is now a weird mottled yellow color.
#4: Stoneshell Dragon This dragon is an ugly bird looking thing with dumb pink highlights and stoneshell wings. It is a horrible design (especially the wings) and is very unsettling.
#3: Glowwing Dragon Most people hate at least one Chrysalis dragon because of their proportions. In my opinion, the Glowwing Dragon has the weirdest proportions as its head and serpent-like body are super small and super narrow, while its wings and tail are super huge.
#2: Scoria Dragon I hate this dragon. It has a dumb weird rock on its back, it has a dumb face with tiny eyes and a dumb smile. It has a dumb rock tail with a sharp rock at the end of it. The only thing it can really do is a dumb roll.
#1: Glacier Dragon It is basically just a giant triangle with a mouth, eyes, and tiny little feet. It's bland, uninteresting, ugly, and dumb at the same time.
