Game Description
On the edge of the Shimmering Isles, in the Crimson Sea, one of smaller, more mysterious islands is home to the topaz dragons. Due to their isolation, topaz dragons are a bit shy, but eventually they warm up and are one of the friendliest dragons in existence. This dragon cannot breed at this time.

Breeding

The Topaz Dragon can only be bred by selecting a Cactus Dragon to mate with a Firefly Dragon at the Breeding Cave/Epic Breeding Island.

Notes

• The Topaz Dragon was introduced alongside the Topaz Portal on November 1st, 2012.
• The gemstone topaz is the birthstone of the month of November.
• The Topaz Dragon cannot be bred with any other dragon, including breeding with another Topaz Dragon.
• The Topaz Dragon is the third Gemstone Dragon to use only three distinct elements for breeding. This is preceded by the Peridot Dragon and the Opal Dragon.
• The Topaz Dragon is the second Gemstone Dragon to not have a preview released on the DragonVale Facebook page before the dragon was available; the first was the Opal Dragon.
• The Topaz Dragon is the first dragon to have complete heterochromia, which means that one eye is a different color than the other.
