Maybe it's because I'm one of the older people here, or maybe it's because it's something else. I'm not sure. However, reading over some of the threads and the responses, I became a bit irritated. What is the point in being rude and calling people "noobs," or making snide remarks to them? Does it make you feel better to laugh at someone's failure? Is there a sense of accomplishment when you post it?
No matter if you're an anonymous user, dedicated wiki veteran or somewhere in between...Take time to think before you post. If the only thing you can think of to post is something rude. Don't post it. The old saying, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." Not everyone that plays is level 40, with every dragon etc. Some need help. Some have questions and this place is a great place to find answers. If you don't know the answer, why bother posting some unrelated rude comment?
I've met some wonderful people here. Of all ages. There are very helpful ones, and thankfully they do outnumber the rude ones. So to those people I'd like to say thank you. Thank you for being welcoming and for helping out when I (and others) have become stuck, confused, curious etc. I'm glad that you are the ones I was first introduced to here. You all are the reason I continue to stay. There is way too many of you to name. Though I am sure those whom I talk to know that I mean them. Thank you guys.
