This thread has been created to seek help of the community to gathering missing images and render or update images that need updating. If you see an image that needs to be rendered, or find out that we are missing an image, feel free to write it here or upload it yourself. Thank you so much, and remember: any help is much appreciated!
Reasons as to why an image needs an update, could be:
They are not rendered.
They are too small.
Some parts/a part of the image is cut off.
When uploading images, please remember to crop them. It is okay if you are not able to do so. If you take a picture of a dragon, please try to capture it in a neutral pose. Also, please try to name images in accordance to the naming convention which is as follows:
For example: If you had a plant trait baby Poison Dragon, its image name would be:
PoisonDragonPlantRiftBaby.png. This helps so that mods don't have to rename all the images that are uploaded.
There will be a list of all the missing images and the images that need to be updated, and we will try to keep the list up to date. You can see the list below. You can visit this page to see an updated list of rendered and missing dragon images, along with eggs and pedestals.
If you render or upload an unrendered image, please comment so below so we can keep the list updated!
Posts would be removed immediately once it is solved after 48 hours because this is an ongoing forum discussion which won't be closed and would get lengthy if posts are not removed. Thank you for understanding!
Thank you everyone who helps with this. By a quick calculation this latest update has required us to get at least 2,700 to 3,600 images for the common hybrid grid alone.
This calculation accounts for 10 adult stages, 10 juvenile stages, 10 baby stages, and 10 hatch menus.
In addition to this, each common hybrid requires an egg and egg pedestal image which adds an additional 180 images to the above numbers.
This may take some time to obtain and render everything, but this is a great community with a lot of helpful people and as the past has shown, we will get this done! It may just take a little time and patience to do so!
Please remember to use this thread when uploading/rendering images so we can add new files and remove rendered files. That way it becomes somewhat organized and no one has to go through all the image pages trying to figure out what is what. Also this would prevent different people from rending the same files multiple times.
