MrAwesome8 has received sufficient support to be voted Administrator. You can discuss this nomination here.
Administrators are members of the community with great knowledge in coding, editing, the wiki's content and Dragonvale itself. Their role is to help the community to function properly as a whole, through the use of tools similar to Wiki Moderators and Chat Moderators, with a few extra ones.
Administrators are responsible for addressing disruption on the wiki by other users, including breaches of civility.
A good administrator listens to the opinions of other people in the community and tries to find a way to respond to issues or suggestions whether it is as small simple accidental error in a template or opening a forum for discussion.
An administrator's authority is as large as the community would like it to be.
Administrators have no right to claim authority over the content and policies of the wiki.
Administrators do not own the site. They cannot shut out the opinions of others.
Abuse of administrator privileges may result in a removal of user rights after community discussion.
Nominees need to show maturity. This includes quality edits, courtesy, and refraining from heavily roleplaying (like wiki "marriage", indulging in "violent acts" toward another user, etc ...)
Administrators are expected to show good behavior both here and on other Wikis. As their conduct will be associated with this wiki, a block or ban on another Wiki as much as here could lead to demotion.
Traits to look for in a potential administrator include, but are not limited to:
A kind approach to fellow members of the community.
Is helpful to other members of the community by trying to answer questions or complaints.
Is familiar with basic editing in source mode on Wikia.
Has a well-rounded knowledge of the content in DragonVale
Is respected by other members of the community.
Is able to work well with others.
Seems like their contributions to the DragonVale community would benefit with the administrator specific tools.
Within 24 hours of opening the discussion, the nominee must post a comment providing information as to why s/he is interested in the position and what qualifications s/he has for the role.
Within 48 hours of opening the discussion, the Administrator who provided the voucher for the candidate must post a comment providing information as to why s/he supports the candidacy.
Anyone is allowed to ask questions to the candidate.
Questions must be clear AND related to the Administrator's job.
The candidate is expected to answer pertinent questions.
RESPECT shall be the word of order at all time. Not agreeing with the candidate being possibly promoted does not allow someone to disrespect that person.
A failure from the candidate to answer a question for more than 24hrs during the discussion(candidate shall be asked for availability before-hand) will result in a cancellation of the upcoming vote.
After the community discussion has been open for 7 days, one of the current administrators will open the Voting Process, wherein community members can indicate whether they support or oppose the candidacy.
This discussion will remain open until the end of the day on October 01, 2016 (23:59:59 UTC).
I provided MrAwesome8 with the Administrator vouch and support the candidacy because I personally believe he has the necessary experience and qualities that are required for this role. I have closely worked with MrAwesome8 for quite some time now and it has been an amazing opportunity to witness his growth. He is an individual who is constantly eager to help. This was seen as he took on the roles of Chat Moderator and Wiki Moderator over the course of his time on the wiki. He also equally distributes his time between editing content on the wiki and the chatroom, thus promoting the importance of balance. Lastly, he is impartial, level-headed, and an excellent team player. All in all, I foresee great things for MrAwesome8 if he is presented with the opportunity of becoming one of the Administrators on this wiki and wish him the best of luck! ^.^
Just want to wish Awesome good luck with the forum, think he would be great for the wiki due to his passion for the site, dont have any questions or concerns right now but if i have any later ill be sure to put them!
Firstly, I would like to extend a warm thank you to Adriano 25, AndyKhaos, Lady Belle, and Wolfiethezwolf for providing the necessary amount of vouches, but also to those who would have provided a vouch if one was needed.
I want to be an Administrator on the DragonVale Wiki so that I can continue to help more users, as well as use my ideas to better the wiki. I have been apart of DragonVale for almost its entire 5 year span. Throughout this time I have experienced my share of ups and downs, and DragonVale has been there through them all. I want to help share this experience with others, I want to help connect them to DragonVale and have them explore the world of dragons like so many of us here already have. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to become immersed in the hours of breeding and decorating, to be lost in a world of wizards, and to have a dragon as a best friend.
As I am an Administrator on multiple wikis of my own, I am very familiar with these tools and know how to use them effectively. Over the years, I have worked closely with the current Administrators on the site, as well as the other Wiki Moderators. In doing so, we have successfully communicated our ideas and were able to better the wiki because of it.
Thank you for reading, and I hope that you will consider me to be the next Administrator for this wiki.

I know some of these I've asked in other staff discussions, but why mess with a good question.
1) If the Century Dragon were to race against the Bloom Dragon, who would win the race?
2) If you think a user has violated one of the Wiki Rules and Policies how would you handle this?
3) What if it occurred on multiple occasions or is a multiple offense?
4) What if it is the first time but multiple rules and policies were violated?
5) Which do you prefer the Monument of Epics or the Lost Island of Olympus?
6) If a friend violates the Wiki Rules and Policies how would you approach the situation?
7) What if the person violating a rule or policy is a fellow staff member?
8) If you could be tethered eternally to an existing dragon in DragonVale, which would it be?
9) Same question but with any animal on planet Earth?
10) If you could enter a fandom would you be an observer, join the main group of characters, or aid as a supporting character?
11) What is the first thought you have when someone says "dragons are coming"?
Instead of looking at the classic scenario where the Century Dragon wins, I'm going to look at this a little differently. Instead of focusing on "slow and steady wins the race," I would like to focus on the Bloom Dragon. The problem is that The Bloom Dragon does not follow through with its skill. Instead, the Bloom Dragon relied on just having the ability of speed, which ended up costing it the race. Not only do you have to have the skill, you must also prove yourself. This is similar in baseball. There are good teams and there are bad teams; and believe me, I've had my share of both. When you are on a good team, say undefeated even, and you face a team who has not won a single game, it may feel easy to want to not try your hardest, but, similar to the Bloom Dragon, it will cost you the game. In baseball, it only takes one, and if the bad team is giving it their all against the team who is being overconfident, the bad team will wind up victorious. This is why it is so important to not only have the skill, but believe in it and prove it by doing your best all the time.
If I feel as if a user has violated the Wiki Rules and Policies, I will leave a message on said user's message wall warning the user of such action per the policies, and, depending on the severity of the offense, administrate the necessary actions. If the user continues to perform the prohibited action after the warning, the user will undergo a more severe punishment as outlined in the policies. In the case of a user breaking multiple rules as his or her first offense, I would inform him or her on his or her message wall of the violations, and will make clear that further violations will result in a block. Likewise for a friend who violates the policies. Just because said user is a friend of mine gives him or her no right nor reason for special treatment by being above the rules. Also the same goes for a staff member, no user, under any circumstance, may violate any of the policies and proper appropriate action will fairly be taken for all users.
(5) The Monument of Epics enables all epic dragons to level to level 15 (level 20 if you also have the Relic of the Epics). The Lost Island of Olympus enables you to have an extra island, similar to the Lost Island, in your park. Although both are neat features with important functions, I would have to say I prefer the Lost Island of Olympus due to the aesthetic appearance and extra space.
This is proposing an interesting question; if I could be tethered eternally to any one of the three hundred eleven total dragons, which dragon would it be? Although difficult to choose one from hundreds at first, I think I would have to go with the Thorn Dragon. As its description states:
As the thorn protects the rose, so does the thorn dragon protect its companions. Fiercely loyal, this dragon will never leave the side of those it considers to be friends.
I would rather be tied to a loyal and trusting companion for eternity than any other.
Now, not dragons, but any and all life forms on Earth. I thought about a few animals such as Lions or Eagles, but in the end, I think I would want an eternal tethering with a friend, much like the Thorn Dragon. It may seem boring, but I choose a Dog to be tethered eternally to. They are loyal and will always have your back, and I plan to do the same for them.
Another interesting question. It would of course have to depend on the fandom and what is occurring in it, but generally speaking. Although, I may not like to be the center of attention, I would want to do my part and join the main group of characters. I would like to be able to act for myself, but also offer my help when ever it is needed or necessary. I would also observe when appropriate, but be ready to step in if anything were to require special action.
My first thought would be to find some Valyrian mother of dragons and ride them to Dragonfell.
Thank you for answering the questions Awesome. From working with and knowing you for awhile it will be great for you to have the few extra administrative tools to continue to help out the wiki more, and I believe you will use and treat the tools respectfully as you have done with the wiki moderator and chat moderator tools thus far. I also think this may have been one of the fastest nominations and vouches I've ever seen on this wiki. Congrats on the nomination and vouches.
Hopefully your answers help anyone who may be wondering your thoughts on the questions I asked above.
I have not been active for quite some time, so I cannot say anything about the recent MrAwesome8, but I approve of MrAwesome8 nomination from the chats and edits that happened when I was still active. I believe that back then, he already had the mindset and qualities that an admin should have, so I am sure that he developed those qualities even further right now.
I believe MrAwesome would be a great admin on our wiki. He has a lot of knowledge regarding complex codes and is a very helpful person. Besides, MrAwesome is also an admin on the French DragonVale Wiki and DragonVale World Wiki.
I actually remember nominating MrAwesome for the Chat Moderator and Wiki Moderator roles last time. He has proven to be a great Moderator with both the tools and as Andy mentioned, MrAwesome does balance between the chat room and overall wiki equally.
I have no questions for MrAwesome and wish him all the very best! :)
I am wishing MrAwesome a good luck for hopefully becoming our third Admin of the Wiki. He has great coding capabilities, always gets along with all users, and approves of new ideas for the wiki by me like setting up a Decoration Variable 2, which I thank him for his work.
I do not have any questions for him at the moment, but if I do have some later, I will keep them informed.
MrAwesome has experience and I have seen him help or attempt to help many users. I have never seem him say anything rude to anyone, and I have been reading articles and comments on this wiki since long before I made an account. I think that he would be fast, efficient, and responsable with administration abilities. I can't write much now but I think I got my point across. I have no questions for now.
I believe MrAwesome would make a great administrator and wish him the best of luck. One quality I have not seen mentioned is his patience. Especially with new players. I have seen a number of times where he could have said the answer is on the site, but instead takes the time to help them through their questions. Definitely a great quality for an administrator to have!
I am so impressed at how much behind-the-scenes work MrAwesome8 does for the wiki, lots of edits to keep the wiki up to date. No questions, but I did want to say that I think he will be an excellent Administrator!
I feel my work progress and performance has been very well. As a Wiki Moderator, I have completed many projects and renovations that has helped the wiki become a more helpful place. Some of these projects are still ongoing, for example the Earning Rate project. Also, I have created numerous programs to help aid the editing process. These programs write pages of code in seconds which would normally take me multiple hours. This is a huge time saver and they are available for free download if you PM me. Overall, I may be able to improve the quality of the programs and widen their abilities just for convince.
As I am already both a Wiki Moderator and Chat Moderator, I don't foresee much difference in the time I spend on the wiki if I were to become an Admin. As stated in my original post, the only difference in privileges that will require more time is managing threads, which I feel I already have a good grasp on as it is. Also, as I said above, I have created multiple programs to help with the giant workload. In conclusion, becoming an Admin won't introduce many more responsibilities that I am not already upholding, so therefore I feel it will indeed stay flexible.
