Obtaining
During Whitbee's Candy Bash V: The Candied Conjuring, the Nesting Dragon was only available for purchasing in the Day tier.

Possible References
- The Nesting Dragon's name and design are likely inspired by Russian Matryoshka dolls, also called nesting dolls. The Nesting Dragon's description states, "the nesting dragon seems to be equipped with a pouch in which it carries its little dragonling friends. Which begs the question: do those dragonlings, too, have their own pouches containing yet smaller dragons within? And yet smaller dragons *also* have pouches with yet even *smaller* dragons inside?" This is similar to real-life nesting dolls, which contain smaller versions of themselves inside each doll.
- The Nesting Dragon's description states, "Is it just nesting dragons all the way down?" This may be a reference to the expression "turtles all the way down," which alludes to the mythological idea of a World Turtle that supports a flat Earth on its back, and suggesting that this turtle rests on the back of an even larger turtle, which itself is part of a column of increasingly large turtles that continues indefinitely. This is similar to the idea of nesting dolls that the Nesting Dragon is designed after.
- The Nesting Dragon's quest name is called "Infinite Regression" which also references this, as "turtles all the way down" is an expression of the problem of infinite regress.
