Player Profile is a feature within DragonVale which allows players to set and view their "Profile" for other players they are Friends with to see.
Friends can view each other's Player Profile by going to the Social Menu and tapping on their friend's "Friend Icon" in the "Friends" section.

Player Profile Card[]
A player can view their own Player Profile Card by selecting the "Friend Icon" Button in the bottom-right corner of their Social Menu.
A player can also access their own Player Profile Card by going to the Signboard Portal on their First Standard Island and using the "View My Profile" Button.
The Player Profile Card displays the following:
- The player's Friend ID
- The player's Friend Icon,
- The number of "Unique Dragons" the player has
- How many in the player's park out of the total amount currently available in-game
- The dragon the player selected as their "Favorite Dragon"
- A blank block is shown if the player does not select a "Favorite Dragon"
- The dragon the player currently has selected as their "Co-op Dragon"
- This is the dragon seen at the Cooperative Breeding Cave and for Challenges
Friend Icon[]
The player can choose a "Friend Icon" to represent them on their Player Profile Card.
The default "Friend Icon" is the Baby Fire Dragon.
The player can change their "Friend Icon" by entering their Player Profile Card through the Social Menu and selecting the image to the left of their Friend ID.
The player can also change their "Friend Icon" by going to the Signboard Portal on their First Standard Island and using the "Change Avatar" Button.
The "Friend Icon" selection menu will appear upon using either of these options with the following subsections:
- "Baby Dragons" - Icons of any unique dragons the player has in their in their park in its button icon for its baby form.
- "Adult Dragons" - Icons of any unique dragons the player has in their in their park in its button icon for its adult form.
- "Dragon Eggs" - Icons of any unique dragons the player has in their in their park in its button icon for its egg as seen in the Nursery/Legendary Nursery.
- "Other" - Miscellaneous icons containing some of the following:
- Element Flag Icons
- Traits Icons - Golden Ring
- Dragonarium Subsection Icons
- House Icons
- Clear Icon - Shovel
- Goals Icon - Book
- Options Icon - Gear
- Trophies Icon - Trophy
- Visitors Icon - Two Magifolk
- Gwyddion Icon - Gwyddion's Head
- Gardenia Icon - Gardenia's Head
- Kaleni Icon - Kaleni's Head
- Lumi Icon - Lumi's Head
- Whitbee Icon - Whitbee's Head
- Noel dePlante Icon - Noel dePlante's Head
- Kai Icon - Kai's Head
- Wizard Icon - Melvin Shorttop's Head
Tip: Check the "Baby Dragons" or "Adult Dragons" Friend Icons Subsection to check if you've bred a unique dragon for the first time before it leaves a Breeding Location.
- The icon will appear if it is bred prior to it entering the Nursery/Legendary Nursery or being hatched.
Naming the Park[]
Through the Signboard Portal located on a player's First Standard Island players can name their park by using the "Edit Sign" Button.
Players can change/edit the name of their park using between zero to ten characters.
The default name is a blank sign with zero characters.
Signboard Portal[]
The Signboard Portal is located on a player's First Standard Island.
In addition to functioning like the other Magic Portals the Signboard Portal has the following icons:
- Change Avatar - Allows the player to change their "Friend Icon"
- Edit Sign - Allows the player to change/edit the name of their park using between zero to ten characters
- View My Profile" - Allows players to view/access their Player Profile Card

- In August 2022, the First Standard Island's Magic Portal was changed to reflect the update to player profiles by replacing it with the Signboard Portal.
- This update allowed a customizable sign that can fit up to ten characters for players to name their park.
- On November 13, 2024 as part of Update 4.32.0, the "Player Profile Button" was moved from the top-left corner of the park screen to the bottom-right corner next to the "Visit Random Park Button" inside the Social Menu.
