Possible References
- The Pillar of Prophecy's purchase price of 122,112, is likely a reference to the date December 21, 2012.
- The Pillar of Prophecy's description states, "this statue signifies the end of the known world in late December". This is likely a reference to the belief that the world would end on December 21, 2012, interpreted to be the end of the Mayan calendar. This date, in fact, marked the end of a cycle on the Mayan Calendar, historians have found evidence that the Calendars dates even further into the future.
