Notes
- The Paper Dragon was introduced alongside the Anniversary Statue without notice on September 13, 2012.
- The Paper Dragon was removed from the market on September 24, 2012.
- There is a reference to Backflip Studios in the description: "Your guests are sure to do backflips with one of these in your park."
- The designs of both the egg and the dragon's wings include the letter "B", representing Backflip Studios.
- The Paper Dragon's name is a reference to traditional anniversary gifts; paper is the gift given for the first anniversary.
- The name may also be a reference to the fact that Backflip Studios created the game Paper Toss.
- The 12 hour breeding time is most likely related to the fact that the game has been available for one year, or 12 months.
- The Paper Dragon is the best earner for the Cold and Plant habitats and the second best earner for the Earth Habitat (with the best earner being the Panlong Dragon).
- The Paper Dragon is the second dragon to include four elements, after the Panlong Dragon.
- There was no way to know if you bred a Paper Dragon or a Moss Dragon until the egg appeared in the nursery, as they had the same incubation time and the same elements were needed.
- On December 18, 2012, the Paper Dragon returned to the market for a limited time.
- A Facebook Notification later confirmed that the Paper Dragon, and all the other limited dragons and decorations that were brought back, will be leaving by January 2, 2013.
- Another Facebook Notification and in-game notification said that the Paper Dragon, and all of the other limited dragons and decorations that were brought back will leave at a later date, after January 2, 2013.
