Game Description
On bright snowy nights in the far northern town of Vinturfjord, you might hear a jolly jingling in the distance. If you're lucky, it might be an ornamental dragon dashing over the snow. Nobody knows how the ornamental dragons grow their colorful spheres, but oh what fun they bring to the Vale!

Obtaining

The Ornamental Dragon can be obtained by collecting 6,485 during the Winter Frostival.

During the Arcane Pentournament players were able to purchase the Ornamental Dragon for 3,980.

During the Frosty Jubilee players were able to purchase the Ornamental Dragon for 2,100.

During the Jolly Jubilee players were able to purchase the Ornamental Dragon for 2,495.

Breeding

The Ornamental Dragon can be bred by using a Reindeer Dragon and any dragon containing the Fire element, in either order, at the Breeding Cave/Epic Breeding Island.

Notes

On December 9, 2015, the Ornamental Dragon's spot appeared in the Dragonarium, even though it had not been officially released into DragonVale yet.
- The button indicates "Not Available" and did not change even though the Winter Frostival event started on December 10, 2015. Players would only be able to view the Ornamental Dragon's infobox in the Dragonarium once he/she obtains it by trading a certain amount of iceberries at the Snowfall Spire.
The Ornamental Dragon was released along with the Frostpetal Lamp, Wintry Sentry, Holly Bench, Ornamental Pedestal, Lace Pedestal, Dazzling Pedestal, Ornamental Habitat, Lace Dragon, Magical Greenhouse, Dazzling Dragon, Arctic Arena, Snowfall Spire, Mystery Giftery, Ma Goody's Magical Greenhouse, Winter Vault of Whimsy, and the Winter Frostival Island.

Possible References

The Ornamental Dragon's description states, "dashing over the snow" and "oh what fun they bring to the Vale!". This is likely a reference to the lyrics in the Christmas carol Jingle Bells.
