Breeding any of the Monolith Dragons with any other Monolith Dragons may result in any of the six Monolith Dragons. |
Breeding
All six Monolith Dragons can be bred by using any two Monolith Dragons at any Breeding Cave.
Required Combos
Each Monolith Dragon is required in the following breeding combos:
- Pond Dragon (First Monolith)
- Cumulus Dragon (Second Monolith)
- Stoneshell Dragon (Third Monolith)
- Tansy Dragon (Fourth Monolith)
- Plateau Dragon (Fifth Monolith)
- Tulip Dragon (Sixth Monolith)
Some Monolith Dragons are required for the following evolutions:
- Hedera Dragon (Third Monolith)
- Glyph Dragon (Fourth Monolith)
- Pixie Dragon (Sixth Monolith)
Obtaining
The Monolith Dragon can be purchased from specific events. The following table shows each of the six Monolith Dragons and their prices during events where they were available to buy:

*During Epic Egg Hunt, instead of purchasing dragons with eggs, players would have to accumulate enough eggs to pass milestone rewards. When a certain amount of epic eggs were collected and turned in at the Burcadian Monolith, a message card would pop up to inform players that the Monolith Dragon could be collected from the "Gifts" section in the Social Menu.

- On March 11th, 2015, the Monolith Dragons' spot appeared in the Dragonarium, even though it had not been officially released into DragonVale yet.
- The first four Monolith Dragons were released on March 12th, 2015 during the Epic Egg Hunt, along with the Relic of the Epics, Monolith Habitat, Monolith Pedestal, Unhatched Monolith Dragon, and Path of Nature.
- On an unknown date, the Monolith Dragon changed from being limited to permanent.
- On July 15th, 2015, the Fifth Monolith Dragon's spot appeared in the Dragonarium, even though it had not been officially released into DragonVale yet.
- The Fifth Monolith Dragon was released on August 21st, 2015 during The Great Dragon Faire.
- On September 29th, 2015, the Fifth Monolith Dragon changed from being limited to permanent.
