I also love that they're actually making players "need" the Weather Station as part of the rituals (sarcasm). I kind of liked last event's rituals better... at least all it required was the 10 decorations not "this dragon at this level with this trait at midnight on the 24th of the month... oh it needs to be raining in your park and outside". The exaggeration may be a bit much, but it is what it is lol.
Thank you for taking the time to answer my inquiry. I do understand that maintaining a wiki as extensive as DragonVale must have been extremely difficult and unbelievably time consuming for you all these years. I want you to know how much your efforts were appreciated. The information you and your fellow administrators provided made it possible to play the game successfully.
The DragonVale game has become increasingly complex, difficult to play, and time consuming. I fully understand why the DragonVale wiki cannot provide the information that was available to us in the past.
Once again, thank you for all the work you have done for the DragonVale Wiki.
It's certainly not easy to maintain the wiki any more with all the new content being released at once. Images are even harder to get up. Maybe if the game slows down at some point, we'll be able to catch up with the info a little more.
Hi CelticStar. I overwrote your Party Pedestal thinking that it needed to be renamed Party_Pedestal which was a mistake. I just saw the Special grid you have set up, not sure why I missed that originally. You can probably overwrite mine with yours as it I think it would look better in the grid (same size).
Also remember that the rift element counts as a unique element. So if you breed a Plant Rift with a Scorch there are four unique elements. But until BFS includes traits in the breeding hint, the Breeding section won’t reflect it. If we allowed for that we would have to allow for other things. We try to keep the information as close to the information in-game as possible.
You also can’t have four different traits at any one time since dragons can only have one trait at a time. The most traits you can have is 3 (one per dragon and then the rift alignment). And in the regular park the most you can have is 2 but the traits are not a factor in the regular park breeding since they are attached to the Rift element.
The rift element may also add all 10 primary elements to the mix just like an Epic element adds its base elements to the mix.
There are a lot of factors that can play into why you are getting Rainbow and Double Rainbow, so until BFS changes their breeding hint, we can’t change ours.
I drive a car, I have two legs, breathe air, work with humans... most people don’t know I’m a mermaid. There are others like me out there, mermaids (and mermen) living among humans. Some even married humans and have kids.
well, i don't want to reveal my true identity, because it will be an endangerment to my race, but it's not that i can shapeshift, i can manipulate the way people see me. kind of hard to master, but getting the hang of it mostly. take this idea: what if each individual lived in their own universe controlled by themselves. and each universe is unified into one matrix we call society. and what if someone was to bond 2 different individuals' universe. they would be able to control each others' universe. the person has no control over it because they don't know it's happening. the other person that creates a bond between the universes is aware of it happening and can affect another person's universe. but how exactly would you create the bonds of universes? and what would happen if someone took complete control over it? what would happen? this is why we can only control small things, like the Jedi do with mind tricks, but a bit differently. it seems bad, but we use it only for good things like keeping others from creating a mobius loop of bonds where you can reach anyone's point of view from any side of the dimension while staying in the same dimension.
If you really are a mermaid I wanna know how it's like having gills and living underwater...
Are the sharks mean?
Do they commonly attack you?
What do you eat?
I'm clueless but if your an actual mermaid please tell me.
Living underwater is magical and peaceful. Except I don't have gills... at least not like most fish. Since I'm also part human, I can breathe air just like you. I can also spend long periods of time underwater because my tail has special scales that act like gills and filter oxygen from the water.
Sharks are big softies. They like to act all big and bad, but they're just curious. They don't like all the negativity they get because they happen to attack a human by mistake thinking it's a delicious seal. They don't have hands like you or I, so they have to feel things using their mouth. They don't mean to cause harm to humans.
I eat fish and crab. We have to eat them to help control the population, otherwise there would be an overabundance of certain fish. Those that are endangered, we don't eat, we try to protect them.
The truth: I actually live on land. I can blend in with other humans and you'd never know I was a mermaid by looking at me. I do enjoy visiting the oceans and other bodies of water. There's always so much to explore.
Some say the Bermuda Triangle is magic. Some have a more scientific approach to the mysterious happenings around there. All I know is it's a weird and mysterious place.
Each fish (and water-dwelling mammal) as their own way of communicating. Sometimes we need an interpreter to help us understand what is being said. Some of my friends can communicate through changing their scale colors, much like a lot of species of fish. Others communicate through body language. I can communicate with whales and dolphins via echo location, the same way they communicate with each other.
There are a lot of things that just can't be explained. Either because they are too complex or too magical or just plain mermaid secrets.
Hi Celty! This is Spectra from a looooong time ago (on a different account because I forget the credentials to the other one haha). I took a hiatus from DV for a while, so I'm checking out everything new that's happening. It's really nice to see an old face here, though :) Gonna go catch up on the elements trilogy now ^_^
I'm not really active here anymore. I haven't stopped playing DV, but other things took me away from the Wiki. I only pop in every so often to update one of my pages (which have been neglected for some time now). I can always be reached through my message wall though :)
Yes, it has been a long time. I haven't had a chance to edit much in the past few months. I'll see what I can do this weekend. Are there any other Island themes missing? Has someone uploaded the Lost Island of Olympus already? I will try my best to get Chrysalis Island Theme up this weekend.
I have uploaded the images (with and without portal).
As I am not as active here anymore, please feel free to take over the buttons project (if that is still something that wants to be done). With the recent changes to the buttons in game, I cannot render any of those images as I don't have the time. And in all honesty, I'm done with that project even if I did have the time... it has taken the back burner too many times now for me to waste anymore of my time on it.
I don't anticipate anything being done on it really. It's been in the works for nearly 2 years (if not longer). Even though they are a vital part of gameplay the project never seemed to be deemed important enough to take precedent. While not as important as new dragons, I silently disagreed with some of the other projects that took precedent over the buttons project. Anyways, if it gets done, it gets done. It's waited this long no need to rush anything now.
