Notes
- The Mantasu Dragon's design is based off manticores, which are mythical beings which are said to have a human head, a lion's body, and a scorpion's tail.
- Some depictions of manticores also feature quills, which are present on the dragon's adult stage.
- The Mantasu Dragon could also be based on sphinxes, which are mythical creatures similar to manticores.
- The Mantasu Dragon is named after the Japanese word for midsummer, manatsu (真夏).
