Breeding
The Loot Dragon can be bred by using a Gold Dragon and any dragon containing the Plant element, in either order, at the Breeding Cave/Epic Breeding Island.

- On July 15, 2015, the Loot Dragon's spot appeared in the Dragonarium, even though it had not been officially released into DragonVale yet.
- The button indicates "Not Available" and did not change even though The Great Dragon Faire event started on July 16, 2015. Players would only be able to view the Loot Dragon's infobox in the Dragonarium once he/she obtains it by trading a certain amount of tickets at the Prize Tent.
