Notes
- The Lightmare Dragon was released on January 27th, 2022 at the start of Sweet Dreams, alongside the Lumineux Dragon, Lullaby Dragon, and Buttercup Dragon.
- Deca Games used a submission from their All About Dreams Community Contest from Reddit user u/xHawkHoundx as a basis for the design of the Lightmare Dragon. The submission was called the Dreamcatcher Dragon, and it can be seen here on the DragonVale Reddit.
- The Lumineux Dragon, along with the Lightmare Dragon, are the twelfth and thirteenth Fan-Inspired Dragons released into the game.
- The Lightmare Dragon had the dream element added to its profile and its hidden breeding elements updated on March 7th, 2022.
- The Lightmare Dragon's previous hidden breeding elements consisted of cold, lightning, air, and light.
- The Lightmare Dragon's breeding combination was also changed, but its prior breeding combination was never usable prior to its changed. Previously, it required a Moon Dragon and any dragon with the air and light elements.
- The Lightmare Dragon is nearly identical to the Snowdrop Dragon, as it shares the same animation and body shape.
