- The Light Habitat was released on November 5, 2013, along with the light element, Light Element Flag, Vitrum Scyphus, Large Light Habitat, and the Giant Light Habitat.
- DragonVale players who entered their parks from October 9, 2013 until the day this habitat was released had access to the Light Vestige habitat instead of the regular Light Habitat.
- On April 8, 2015, the Light Habitat began glowing for the duration of the Star Fall Event.
