Kaleni in Candy Land was a special, limited time event by DragonVale which required players to collect candy eggs and trade them at the Sugar Vault to receive various rewards.

Candy eggs needed to be collected and traded at the Sugar Vault. Each reward required a certain amount of candy eggs to be traded in to be earned.

What is the Kaleni in Candy Land Event?[]

Kaleni in Candy Land's objective was to collect candy eggs.

The Help Menu in Kaleni in Candy Land provided info on some key aspect of the event.


Tutorial[]

Kaleni in Candy Land starts with a tutorial explaining how the event will work.

The process of this tutorial can be viewed in the gallery to the right.

The tutorial takes a few minutes to complete from beginning to end, but players received 100 as a goal completion reward after completing the tutorial.

When enough candy eggs are collected, they were able to be used at the Sugar Vault for unique prizes in any order.


Special Visitors[]

When there is a green banner around the Visitors icon, there are Kaleni and hidden eggs in the park.

Kaleni The Grower would appear once a day and awarded 25 on standard days and 50 on double days.

Return on Investment[]

At the end of Kaleni in Candy Land on May 8, all remaining candy eggs will be converted into DragonCash at a rate of  1,000 per . However, as some decorations and dragon pedestals can be purchased with only a handful candy eggs and have a high sell price, the player is able to manually create a higher value per candy eggs by buying and selling certain items.

For Kaleni in Candy Land, the recommended order for items to buy for DragonCash include:

  • The Burcadian Monolith - 31,250 per  spent
  • Glowwing Pedestal and Starwing Pedestal - both are 15,000 per  spent
  • There are no cheaper items with an ROI greater than the default  1,000 per .

Event Market Advertisement Watching Option[]

  • Players were offered the option to watch an advertisement while in the event market for extra event currency this event.
    • This had a limit of two times.
    • If less than 50 event currency away from the item it offered 50 event currency.
    • If more than 50 event currency away but less than 100 event currency away it offered the remaining amount of event currency needed to get the item.
    • If at 0 event currency the above rules still applied so it was possible to get an item that cost 100 event currency or less by watching an advertisement the second time.


Notes[]

  • Kaleni in Candy Land began on March 20, 2025 and ended on May 7, 2025.
    • The candy egg collection ran through May 4, 2025, and concluded on May 5, 2025 at the daily reset. But the Sugar Vault stayed open for two additional days to give players time to spend their excess candy eggs.
  • When Kaleni in Candy Land began, two tiers in the Sugar Vault were misspelled "Lolipop" and "Chocalate Coins."
    • This was fixed on March 21, 2025.
  • The young witch Ellie would have treats ready every 23 hours. The amount of treats varied with the park's level.
  • The Kaleni in Candy Land is only available to players that have reached level 11.
  • The Kaleni in Candy Land's Twilight Tower Theme is the "Day" theme.
  • The Kaleni in Candy Land's Weather Station Theme is "Butterflies" on Double Event Currency Days.
  • The Egg of Burcadia was not in the Sugar Vault when Kaleni in Candy Land started and was added later on March 21, 2025.
  • Chrysalis Theme was not in the Sugar Vault when Kaleni in Candy Land started and was added later on March 27, 2025.
  • On April 1, 2025, for around an hour and a half, opening the Bubble Gum Gym caused the game to crash.
    • On the DragonVale Facebook Page the announcement regarding this issue was announced with a disclaimer about it not being an April Fools joke.
    • A follow up comment on the post announced the issue should be resolved.
  • On April 17, 2025, the Dragon Fruit Cake was added to the Sugar Vault, Chocolate Coins tier.


Double Candy Eggs[]

  • On March 22, 2025, it was made possible to collect twice the amount of candy eggs from completing the tasks in the Kaleni in Candy Land event. This was a promotion and only lasted for 48 hours.
    • On March 25, 2025, this promotion was repeated which lasted for 24 hours.
    • On March 29, 2025, this promotion was repeated which lasted for 47 hours.
      • On March 31, 2025, Double Candy Eggs ended an hour before the daily reset resulting in the Double Candy Egg promotion ending an hour early.
    • On April 2, 2025, this promotion was repeated which lasted for 24 hours.
    • On April 5, 2025, this promotion was repeated which lasted for 48 hours.
    • On April 10, 2025, this promotion was repeated which lasted for 24 hours.
    • On April 12, 2025, this promotion was repeated which lasted for 48 hours.
    • On April 16, 2025, this promotion was repeated which lasted for 24 hours.
    • On April 19, 2025, this promotion was repeated which lasted for 48 hours.
    • On April 22, 2025, this promotion was repeated which lasted for 24 hours.
    • On April 26, 2025, this promotion was repeated which lasted for 48 hours.
