Kairos' Birthday was a special event by DragonVale which introduced players to collect Eternal Essence and spend them at the Perch of Kairos to level up Kairos the second time it occurred.
During both of the Kairos' Birthday players were given a free Kairos Klepsydra in the "Gift" section of the Social Menu.
What is Kairos' Birthday?
Beginning May 18, 2017, Kairos' Birthday's objective is to collect eternal essence to increase Kairos' time advancement level.
Beginning September 16, 2021, Kairos' Birthday reduces the cooldown of Kairos' speed up ability from 4 days to 23 hours for the duration of the event.
Tutorial
Kairos' Birthday started with a tutorial at the beginning of the second occurrence explaining how the event will work.
The process of this tutorial can be viewed in the gallery to the right.
The tutorial took a few minutes to complete from beginning to end, but players received 
150 as a goal completion reward after completing the tutorial.
The first time the tutorial shows up in your park, you are guided to click on the Perch of Kairos.

Notes
- On March 4, 2016, most timers were reduced by 25% in honor of Kairos's birthday.
- During his first and third birthday, Kairos wore a birthday hat and the Perch of Kairos had balloons on it.
- On May 18, 2017, Update 3.15.0 was available in the App Store and Google Play, and included a brief description about Kairos' Birthday.
- On September 16, 2021, the cooldown of Kairos' ability was reduced by 76% in honor of Kairos's birthday.
