Note:
Kairos does not have a Twin Dragon variant as it is a Legendary dragon.
How to Acquire
Kairos can only be acquired by assembling three different artifacts to upgrade the Perch of Kairos. These artifacts include:
Each artifact requires seven fragments each, totaling 21 pieces for all three to be completed. Fragments can be obtained through racing, questing, or purchased with gems. If the player were to buy all the fragments at once, it would cost a total of 2,700.
Mechanics
Activate: Kairos' power can be activated once every four days by using the "Activate button". Before using his ability, the player is prompted with a confirmation which asks: "Are you sure you want to use Kairos' power now?" Upon clicking 'yes', Kairos will accelerate time within your park, with the amount of time scaling from six to 24 hours depending on his level.
- During events which celebrate Kairos' Birthday, the cooldown time for activating Kairos' ability is decreased from four days to one day for the duration of the event.
- There are some things which are not affected by Kairos' power. These include:
- Cooldown times for Gaia, Bahamut, and Tiamat's powers
- Daily timer for collecting Soul Shards at the Summoning Circle
- Timers relating to event minigames or event daily rewards
- Cooldown time for the Mythic Hall of Mysteries
- Timers relating to event start time (Kairos doesn't seem to affect real-life timers, unfortunately)
- Cooldown for Dragon Track races
- Cooldown for gifting Gems or Treats to friends
- Cooldown for Kairos' own power (It's kind of obvious here)
Summon: Prior to an unknown date, Kairos was unable to use his power unless he was sitting on his Perch. As a result, the "Summon" Button was used to bring Kairos back to his perch. The button's name was changed to "Call" on November 20, 2012, but was eventually changed back on January 22, 2014.
Power Levels
Once the player reaches level 40, players can begin obtaining and using Eternal Essence in order to level up Kairos. Eternal Essence is obtained in the same ways that the artifact fragments can, but with the exception of obtaining 250 every time Kairos' power is activated.

Possible References
- Kairos (καιρός) is an ancient Greek word meaning the right or opportune moment (the supreme moment). The ancient Greeks had two words for time, chronos and kairos. While the former refers to chronological (see the The Chronolith) or sequential time, the latter signifies a time in between, a moment of indeterminate time in which something special happens.
- Kairos breathes infinity symbols and triangles, which may represent time or the Greek symbol for change, Delta (Δ).
