Notes
- The Ikatako Dragon is the 656th dragon released on June 17, 2021 during Pirates in Paradise.
- The Ikatako Dragon was released along with the Ahoy Dragon and Zilla Dragon.
- Upon the Ikatako Dragon's release, it only had the water and dark elements. It gained the earth and lightning elements less than a day later.
- The Ikatako Dragon's design was inspired by a fan submission in the Ahoy Design Contest by user u/StringlessWorms. The original design was called Submerged Dragon. The design can be seen here.
Possible References
- The Ikatako Dragon's name comes from the Japanese words ika, meaning squid, and tako, meaning octopus.
- The Ikatako Dragon's description states, "Staying submerged beneath the waves..." The mention of "submerged" may be a reference to how the Ikatako Dragon's original fan design was called the Submerged Dragon.
