Game Description
Whitbee was up to his usual shenanigans, with a very bright little dragon helping him in the libraries of the castle. Spending his much time around numerous books and tomes, the dragon had become familiar with a few magical symbols. But at the wrong place at the wrong time, it had to pick up one of the worst books imaginable, catching a glimpse of its cursed texts. This unfortunate event transformed the dragon into what we see today, with a grim and misshapen body that tells a story of what took place on that fateful day.

Breeding

The Grimoire dragon can be bred using any two dragons , in either order, containing the Dark, Light, Air, and Cold elements, at any Breeding Cave.

• The Grimoire Dragon was released on September 16, 2022 during Whitbee's Candy Bash IX: XI Hsab Ydnac S'eebtihw, alongside the Vampir Dragon and Dortal Dragon.
• On October 14, 2022, DECA Games revealed that the Grimoire Dragon was fan-inspired on their forum page. They used a submission from their DragonVale Lore Design Contest from reddit user r/Sxlv as major inspiration for the Grimoire Dragon. The submission for the contest was called the Storyteller Dragon and can be seen here.
  • The Storyteller Dragon was added to DragonVale despite not actually being a contest winner.
  • The Grimoire Dragon is the seventeenth fan-inspired dragon released into the game.
