Earning Gems[]
Gems are much more difficult to obtain than they are to spend, which is why it is important to know the ways they can be earned. Though they can be rather uncommon, here are the ways the player can earn gems:
- Opening chests from races or quests
- Having Gemstone or Crystalline dragons in your park
- Tapping on Elminister, or banner bearers that appear in your park (banner bearers only spawn when elder dragons are obtained)
- Completing certain goals (notably platinum shrines; they net 20 gems apiece)
- Receiving gifts from friends
- Purchasing them using real money from the Market
- Receiving a silver or gold medal from the Colosseum
- Daily login gifts (every month or so the player will have a milestone for 25)
Dragonarium Milestone Rewards
- Gems are awarded on adding new dragons to the Dragonarium.
