Garden Noms was a special, limited time event by DragonVale which required players to collect magic and trade them at the Ancient Fairy Tree to receive rewards.
Magic needed to be collected and traded at the Ancient Fairy Tree. Each reward required a certain amount of magic to be traded in to be earned.

What is the Garden Noms Event?[]
Garden Noms's objective was to collect magic.
The Help Menu in Garden Noms provided info on some key aspect of the event.
Tutorial[]
Garden Noms starts with a tutorial explaining how the event will work.
The process of this tutorial can be viewed in the gallery to the right.
The tutorial takes a few minutes to complete from beginning to end, but players received 100 as a goal completion reward after completing the tutorial.
The first time the tutorial shows up in your park, you are guided to click on the Ancient Fairy Tree, then you are guided to the main tutorial page with rules and rewards tabs, but you can immediately X out of the tutorial without hitting any of the info boxes if you choose.

Cooperative Breeding[]
During Garden Noms, players could breed with a level 5 Harvest Dragon provided by the nonplayable character Kaleni in the Cooperative Breeding Cave.
During Garden Noms, players could breed for dragons found in the Ancient Fairy Tree through any of the Breeding Caves. Dragons exclusive to this event cannot be bred after the event ends.

- On November 2, 2022 an event timer appeared in the game with a one-day countdown.
- The Garden Noms began on November 3, 2022 and ended on December 7, 2022.
- The Weather Station received a new theme, Glare.
- The magic collection ran through December 4, 2022, and concluded on December 5 at the daily reset. The Ancient Fairy Tree remained open for two additional days and closed on December 7, 2022 daily reset.
- On November 5, 2022, it was made possible to collect twice the amount of magic from completing the tasks in the Garden Noms event. This was a promotion and only lasted for 48 hours.
- On November 8, 2022, this promotion was repeated which lasted for 24 hours.
