The Winter Frostival Island was only available during the events, and was unavailable as a reward.
After updating to DragonVale 3.4.0, players of level 11 will have the Winter Frostival Island added to their park.
The purpose of the Winter Frostival Island is to display Snowfall Spire, Arctic Arena, Ma Goody's Magical Greenhouse, Mystery Giftery, Winter Vault of Whimsy, Holly Bench, and Wintry Sentry.

- The Winter Frostival Island was released along with the Frostpetal Lamp, Wintry Sentry, Holly Bench, Ornamental Pedestal, Lace Pedestal, Dazzling Pedestal, Ornamental Habitat, Ornamental Dragon, Lace Dragon, Magical Greenhouse, Dazzling Dragon, Arctic Arena, Snowfall Spire, Mystery Giftery, Winter Vault of Whimsy, and the Ma Goody's Magical Greenhouse.
- The Winter Frostival Island cannot be decorated, and does not have a Magic Portal for visitors.
- The Winter Frostival Island is smaller than all of the other standard islands.
