Game Description
Two times each year, when night and day become equals, equinox dragons reveal themselves. Celebrations for the arrival of these dragons vary greatly, but villages graced with their presence are said to have an especially bountiful harvest. Wizards have since proven this tale to be untrue, but the festivals are so fun, they keep that little secret.
The wizards somehow found a way to prevent the Equinox Dragon egg from hatching while in your magical park by placing it on this pedestal. Unfortunately eggs placed on these can never be hatched while they remain on the grounds of your park. They sure do make neat decorations though!

Breeding

The breeding pair of dragons must be a Blazing Dragon and a dragon containing the water element.

Dragons can be bred in either order, at any Breeding Cave.

The Equinox Dragon is the first dragon to have two epic elements.
Initially, the Equinox Dragon was available at level 14, but the level availability was changed on October 9, 2013, to level 16.

Possible References

The Equinox Dragon's description states, "when night and day become equals, equinox dragons reveal themselves." This is likely a reference to the fact that during the equinox, night and day are of equal length.
The Equinox Dragon's breeding and incubation times of 24 hours is likely a reference to the number of hours in a day.
