Dragon Draw is Currently Accessible

Dragon Draw is a feature which gives players the opportunity to obtain dragons by using the Summoning Circle. It works identically to a raffle, with Soul Shards effectively functioning as raffle tickets.

Soul Shards[]

Main article: Soul Shards

Soul Shards are necessary for a player to enter Dragon Draw. In order to participate in an active draw, the player must pledge at least one Soul Shard using the button located to the right of the active draw slot.

Players are able to collect up to 20 Soul Shards per day by collecting from Dragon Habitats.

On a successful draw, pledged shards are used to determine the winner of the draw. In the rare instance an active draw fails to reach the threshold before the time runs out, all pledged Soul Shards are refunded back to the players who entered the draw.

Active Draws[]

There are five active Dragon Draws at all times. Once an active draw is completed or expires, the dragon with the most votes will appear in the empty slot.

A sixth, special draw slot may occasionally be added to Dragon Draw for a limited period of time, which contains a predetermined rotation of dragons.

Each draw consists of:

  • A dragon, determined by the number of votes it has received from players.
  • A Soul Shard threshold, which determines the number of Soul Shards needed to be pledged before the draw can complete.
  • An expiration timer.

Players can contribute their Soul Shards to any of the five active dragon draws using the 'Add' button. As soon as the draw's Soul Shard threshold is met, the game will automatically select one player at random to receive the forementioned dragon. If this threshold is not met before the timer runs out, the draw fails and all participating players are refunded their pledged shards.

The selection for Dragon Draw works identically to that of a raffle; each pledged shard functions like a ticket that is added to the pool in which the winner is chosen from. As a result, the chance of winning a dragon draw scale with the amount of soul shards pledged.

  • For example, if a particular dragon has a Soul Shard threshold of 10,000 and the player pledges 2,500, there is a 25% chance that the player wins the draw.

Upcoming Dragons[]

Players can vote for dragons to represent an active draw from the "Vote" menu in the bottom right. The dragon with the most votes when an active draw ends will be selected for the next available slot.

  • The only dragons which the player cannot vote for are Kairos, Gaia, Ts'aishen, Tiamat, Bahamut, Primary dragons (except for the Fire Dragon), and dragons which have been released during the current event.
  • Voting for a dragon is uncapped. As a result, it is possible for someone to vote for every possible dragon.
  • Once an active draw expires or succeeds, it will be replaced by the dragon with the highest number of votes.

Completed Draws[]

Players can view the 50 most recent completed draws under the "Completed Draws" menu. This list will show what dragon was featured, whether or not the draw was successful, which player won, and the amount of Soul Shards you contributed to that draw.

The player can view any draws they have won by clicking on the "Dragon Draws won" button on the top right. If the player has not won one of the fifty draws, the game will instead say "You haven't won any draws yet... Press on Dragon Draws Won button again to see general history".

Notes[]

  • Dragon Draw was first teased in game with a new loading screen depicting the Summoning Circle and Soul Shards being viewable in game on June 14th, 2021.
  • Dragon Draw was initially released on July 20th, 2021, but was shut down after 35 minutes due to containing critical bugs.
    • Before the feature was removed, players were able to go through the tutorial and obtain the Summoning Circle from the Market.
      • However, upon the removal of the draw, the tutorial remained for some time, and as a result, some players were softlocked into the Market as they were unable to buy the Summoning Circle.
  • Dragon Draw received a second soft launch on October 25th, 2021.
  • Due to how Soul Shards work, Dragon Draw is occasionally subject to being exploited by hackers. If you notice that most of the "Completed Draws" are won by one person like in this Reddit post, it is recommended to contact DECA Games so they can look into the incident.
  • On March 20, 2023, Dragon Draw was temporarily shut down for maintenance as it was getting an overhaul.
  • On an unknown date, the game received an update and allowed Dragon Draw to be accessible again-with a change to some of its features. The features which were changed were as follows:
    • Completely removed the maximum Soul Shards cap (previously 50).
    • Up to twenty Soul Shards can now be obtained daily (increased from 5).
    • Soul Shards are now earned when collecting from habitats, much like how Abundant Essence is earned.
    • Removed the Collect Shards button on the Summoning Circle.
    • A 6th Active Draw slot was added with themed dragons, which rotates after a certain period of time.
    • Players can now vote for dragons as recent as the last event. For dragons released in the current event, they are released into Dragon Draw as soon as the next event starts.
    • Dragons won from Dragon Draw now follow the typical Egg of Mystery pattern (normal - twin - Twin Rift) instead of only being a normal variant.
    • The Dragon Draw Menu is now accessible from the Soul Shards currency popup button.
    • An improved anti-cheating mechanism was added to reduce the number of players hacking the draw.
  • On October 10, 2024, an increased amount of exploiting resulted in the Dragon Draw being temporally shut down for fixes.
  • On April 24, 2025, the Dragon Draw became accessible again after being inaccessible for 196 days.
