Breeding
The Dodo Dragon can be bred by using two dragons, in either order, that includes an Earth Dragon and any dragon that contains the Air element, at the Breeding Cave/Epic Breeding Island.
Breeding Opposites
Breeding an Earth Dragon with a Sandstorm Dragon or a Dodo Dragon will only result in an Earth Dragon or an Air Dragon.
Dodo Dragon's Opposite: Sandstorm Dragon

Notes
- The Dodo Dragon was released on April 13, 2012 as a hidden dragon and added to the market on April 19, 2012.
- On December 19, 2012, all of the Opposite Dragons disappeared from the market.
- All of them reappeared in the market on January 14, 2013, when the Bring 'Em Back! event ended.
- Although it has wing-like feathers on its back, the Dodo Dragon cannot fly, making it the only Air hybrid that cannot do so.
- The Dodo Dragon, like all the other Opposite Dragons, cannot be positively affected by a boost because Earth and Air are opposite elements.
- The Dodo Dragon has a higher earning rate and longer incubation time than its opposite, the Sandstorm Dragon, thus making them the only pair of Opposite Dragons to have this occur.
Possible References
- The Dodo Dragon cannot fly.
- This might be a reference to the real (extinct) Dodo bird, which also could not fly.
