Game Description
One starry eve, astromancer Noel dePlante was gazing up through his telescope when he saw something in the sky that was so bright, he was temporarily blinded and had to look away. Compelled to discover what space sight could be so bright, Noel magicked up a way to dim dazzle shining through his telescope. And so was the first observation of the Dazzling Dragon since Vinturfjordian legend, flying through the night sky with its signature glow as if one with the stars.

Obtaining

The Dazzling Dragon can be obtained by collecting a total of 24,400 during the Winter Frostival. It can also be obtained for free by receiving a gift from the Mystery Giftery consecutively for 24 days. If you fall behind it is possible to catch up by spending gems.

During the Arcane Pentournament players were able to purchase the Dazzling Dragon for 5,020.

During the Frosty Jubilee players were able to purchase the Dazzling Dragon for 5,980.

During the Jolly Jubilee players were able to purchase the Dazzling Dragon for 6,995.

Breeding

The Dazzling Dragon can be bred by using any two Ornamental Element Dragons, in either order, at the Breeding Cave/Epic Breeding Island.

• On December 9, 2015, the Dazzling Dragon's spot appeared in the Dragonarium, even though it had not been officially released into DragonVale yet.
  • The button indicates "Not Available" and did not change even though the Winter Frostival event started on December 10, 2015. Players would only be able to view the Dazzling Dragon's infobox in the Dragonarium once he/she obtains it by trading a certain amount of iceberries at the Snowfall Spire.
• The Dazzling Dragon was released along with the Frostpetal Lamp, Wintry Sentry, Holly Bench, Ornamental Pedestal, Lace Pedestal, Dazzling Pedestal, Ornamental Habitat, Ornamental Dragon, Lace Dragon, Magical Greenhouse, Arctic Arena, Snowfall Spire, Mystery Giftery, Ma Goody's Magical Greenhouse, Winter Vault of Whimsy, and the Winter Frostival Island.
