- The Bronze Olympus Dragon was released on July 27, 2012, along with the Silver Olympus Dragon, Gold Olympus Dragon, Olympus Habitat, and the Olympus Flag.
- On August 8, 2012, it was confirmed by Backflip Studios in a Facebook post that the Bronze Olympus Dragon is not a limited dragon.
- On August 29, 2012, the Bronze Olympus Dragon's egg was changed to include all the colors of the Olympus dragons: Gold Olympus Dragon, Silver Olympus Dragon, and Bronze Olympus Dragon.
- The selling price of the Bronze Olympus Dragon also increased from 1,250,000 to 3,000,000.
- On September 10, 2012, the price was changed back to 1,250,000 and egg pedestal design was also changed back to the old one.

Possible References
- The Bronze Olympus Dragon's description mentions "Mount Oly". This is likely a reference to Mount Olympus in Greece.
- The Bronze Olympus Dragon's breeding and incubation times of 35 hours is likely a reference to the 35 sports in the Olympic Games (28 Summer sports and seven Winter sports, although two sports were removed from the Summer Games and have not been replaced).
- The five dots on the Bronze Olympus Dragon's tail is likey a reference to the five rings used in the Olympic symbol.
