- The Seasonal Flag was released on August 9, 2012, along with the Seasonal Dragon, and the Seasonal Habitat.
- Upon initial release, the game contained a typographical error. The market displayed the title of the Seasonal Flag as "Seaonal Flag". This was corrected by Backflip Studios within several hours of release.
- On December 21, 2012, the Seasonal Flag was decorated with holiday decorations for a limited time.
- On February 1, 2013, the holiday decorations on the Seasonal Flag were removed.
- Initially, the Seasonal Flag was available at level 14, but the level availability was changed on October 9, 2013, to level 16.
- On an unknown date, the purchase price changed from
1,000 to 1,500.
