 Note: The Rift Island was only available during the events, and was unavailable as a reward.

After updating to DragonVale 2.0, players of any level will have the Rift Island added to their park.

The purpose of the Rift Island is to house the Tines of the Scar, Rift Egg Edifice, Dark Remnant, Light Vestige, and some decorative objects that are all related to the special Light and Dark Dragons. 

After an element was released, the form of the latest upgraded
tier in that element's event began to be displayed as ruins.

Notes

• The Rift Island was released along with the Tines of the Scar, Rift Egg Edifice, Light Vestige, Dark Remnant, and the Rift Monument.
• The Rift Island cannot be decorated, and does not have a Magic Portal for visitors.
• The Rift Island is smaller than all of the other standard islands.
• The Rift Island is the first island to have ever disappeared from the DragonVale park.
