Game Description
Erupting from the Pole of Almodson, this dark remnant represents the awesome power of dark magic itself. There was a time when some doubted whether dark magic existed, but visitors will speak of its humbling power after visiting your park.

Note: The Dark Remnant is only available (after event) for purchase during Bring 'Em Back Events.

Note: The 'Reward Amount' is determined by the amount of dark magic accumulated during the event.

Affiliated Dragon: Dark Rift Dragon

The Dark Remnant was released on October 9, 2013, along with the Tines of the Scar, Rift Egg Edifice, Light Vestige, Rift Monument, and the Rift Island.
On November 15, 2013, the Dark Remnant became available to players who had not completed any of the upgrades of the Dark Remnant during the Dark Magic Event.
On November 20, 2013, due to an issue with the servers at Backflip Studios, players who logged in during the time the Rift Island disappeared, received the Dark Remnant as a "Special Gift from Backflip".
- The Rift Island disappeared for approximately three hours.
- When placed in the park the Dark Remnant gave 100.
If placed in the Storage Tower, the Dark Remnant is categorized with limited decorations.

The Dark Remnant's description states, "Erupting from the great Pole of Almodson". This is likely a reference to Roald Amundsen, a Norwegian explorer of polar regions.
