It appears that while the standard double day schedule will run (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Wednesday, Tuesday, etc. and weekends), Friday will be added (so weekends will have 3 days? Or 4 when Thursday hits?)
Yes, because it started late is why they added the extra Friday double days. However, IMMHO, this is slightly countered by what I feel are higher prices for the dragons.
FWIW: All Dragon Track races are easier with Epic dragons. Filtering on all or at least one of the elements and also selecting the Epic filter will give dragons that will win (IMO) 99.9% of the races.

The Events page has a list of the events chronologically and grouping. Honestly, I never really track it (this way I'm always surprised? :). I know in some years, some patterned events were skipped or merged. I think it's how the muse moves them.
I'm curious about this one. No announcement that I saw until about 1 hour before the event starts, it has a map, and for them to delay it tells me maybe they've added something new new.
Not sure where this ranks, but I see it as a Super Long Term Goal. I have obtained a regular twin of every dragon. I have lots of Rift Twins, but now every non-rift twin dragon has been achieved.
Unfortunately, there's no way to prove it as it's only tracked in my spreadsheets, but through rigorous checks and updates, I believe it to be true.
Don't forget to log in early and often as there's a 10 twin dragon limit in your park until you log in and "collect" them.
For those (including me) who were waiting for the next event this morning, it has been delayed 4 days.
It will be interesting to have the event start on a Monday.
Also a Twin Weekend s apparently will be showing up this weekend!
Dear Wizards and Witches of the Vale,
Our next event is just around the corner and our own wizards and witches have been working really hard on their magic spells for this enchanting journey. Spells are sometimes unpredictable and can go awry so we will need to make sure the departure is as smooth as it can be for everyone!
In the meantime, the Vale will still be filled with joy! Expansion Extravaganza and Dragon Week will be extended until Monday, 2PM UTC! A certain dragon twinning spell is also making its way towards your parks for the weekend!
Thank you for your support!
@Deca Announcements
Here’s 11 of my 14 Aquarium Habitats. The other three are on a gigantic island but should be incorporated soon.
Only 1 had to be shifted to the right so I could see the island above it.
Updated Pic, FWIW
Ah, (again apologies for coming in late) so you're saying these 5 levels experience delta is not much less than the 750 million or previous 600 million treats. It's the treat/xp ratio.
Hmmm.... so, when one gains experience, isn't there a little green number that goes flying up? (I ask this questioningly because I've turned off my effects). Or does the number go up with everything except the feeding?
I wonder if a question to DECA would help? I wouldn't think it would be a trade secret or an advantage (unless tracking which is the best way to get experience is a game strategy).
Coming into this part of the conversation really late, but if there's a discussion on the amount of XP per level, that did change at level 175. It went from 600,000,000 to 750,000,000. Could that impact the math? I'm assuming 180 to 185 is also 750,000,000 jumps, but am not sure.
From what I've read I believe it's a carryover from the last event. It defaults itself on during double days and apparently after the event. Based on your level, I'm assuming you don't have the Weather Station to change it.
@OleDawgNewTrick Heh, I did have a Homer! Moment, several actually.. I bred dragons for Aquarium and went after Chimmit instead of Nacre - Doh! Doh! (a deer)
@OleDawgNewTrick Homer moment? Practically always with this game. :-) Luckily I didn't convert all of my Giant Rainbows to Large. But I will probably need to do some more if I want to display all Aquariums.
@Sheerinertia We've not had extra habitats since the last level bounce? No wait, it might have even been before that. They've usually go hand-in-hand.
200 would be nice. It'd be great to have 1000 dragons, 200 level, 200 rift habitats.
I'm all for more etherium. Need to get all dragons to have all traits for purple (though I still think that's impossible with unbreedable-then-unavailable dragons showing up each event.
From DECA:
Dear Wizards and Witches of the Vale,
Aquatic adventures can be as tiring as they are fun, so we thought a little break might be useful before we voyage into our next event!
Expansion Extravaganza is coming soon, and it’s not coming alone! During this Expansion, a Dragons Week mini-event will be running alongside it, making a selection of dragons available for the period.
And if that’s not enough - Double Rift Extravaganza is also returning this weekend with boosted Etherium earnings and fallen stars to catch!
But wait....that's not all either?
That's right! This Expansion Extravaganza also brings 5 new levels and 15 new habitat slots for your dragons!
Coming Soon (Probably this week):
Expansion Extravaganza (yay for those extra Aquarium habitats)
Dragon Week (please more rift breeding)
Double Rift (for more breeding :-)
5 more Levels
And More max habitats!!
(Looks like I started selling off large rainbow habitats too soon! :-)
Speaking of analyzing: (apologies if repeated)
1) Expansion Extravaganza is coming!! (Just what I needed! :-)
2) An Aquarium on a standard island will hold an additional 3 Giant (8x8)/1 Large (7x7), 4 Large (7x7), or 8 Regular (6x6) if placed in the NW corner (If placed in the NE corner, only 7 regular (6x6) will fit.
Not sure what thread I put this on, but here are some notes:
1) Expansion Extravaganza is coming!! (Just what I needed! :-)

I don't believe so. I've not run the permutations on any other epic habitats (Dream, Apocalypse, Seasonal, etc.) mostly because each giant island is < 2M DC. (Of course, without "cheating" by "stacking")
Giant Treasure is where I went to get me close to 1B, the only down side being having enough island space, but that's because years ago I had tons of rainbow dragons and so built up over a dozen islands of Giant Rainbow Habitats. You should be better off if you have the space (gonna go take a peek at your Vale - oh those gigantic treasure islands!!).
I'm now un-doing my Giant Rainbow Habitat islands (and going down a deeper, darker path putting Aquariums on standard islands and packing them with 6x6 Large Rainbow Habitats (8 will fit with an Aquarium that does not block islands "above" them, depending on the island placement (7 for those that do block))). (Oh, the days of Lisp :-)
